Kellie M. Martin, a native of the United States is an American actor and actress in the film and television industries. She is best known for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. She is also known as the star of her own Hailey Dean Mystery television series. Martin started her acting career when she was seven years old. The aunt of her mother, who served as the nanny for Michael Landon's children assisted her in landing an unimportant role in the 1982 TV series Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more than just a hobby. She landed significant roles on television as well as big screens. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus aged 19 inspired her to become the Lupus the national spokesperson.
