The show also featured her as host on the evening (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. She was born at Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father had been engaged to Ojales before 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also is an actor. Clare was a cousin of the family of their father. Clare passed away at the age of four months old in 2007.
