Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is an actress, television presenter, record artist, as well as an entrepreneur. Her achievements have been numerous throughout her career. The actress was nominated for twice for Gawad Urian Award. Curtis played the role of Hiram Kampanerang in the films (2005), Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) as well as Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she played Komiks iconic character Dyesebel. Her other roles include hosting the midday variety show It's Showtime from 2009-2020. Anne Curtis, born on 17 February 1985 in Australia and the Philippines, is a television actress presenter, entrepreneur and recording artist. Her achievements include numerous awards throughout her career including the two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. Additionally, she was recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards in addition to 8 PMPC Star Awards in the films. Curtis was a part of a variety of TV shows, such as Hiram in 2004 and 2005, Kampanerang Kuba Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa Maging Sino Dyosa Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. She portrayed in 2014 the well-known Komiks character Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. The show also featured her as host on the evening (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina native to Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who is an Australian attorney. She was born at Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. Her father had been engaged to Ojales before 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also is an actor. Clare was a cousin of the family of their father. Clare passed away at the age of four months old in 2007.
